Mission Statement

The Vermillion Youth Soccer League’s mission is to promote and foster the game of soccer on the youth amateur level in Vermillion, SD. By offering opportunities for both recreational participation and player development, VYSL strives to integrate the building of self-esteem, team work, respect for self and others, and all the inherent benefits of physical exercise, as well as to give players who desire to advance beyond recreational soccer the tools to do so. It is our goal to provide opportunities in technical and tactical development, coaching education, and referee education in order to further “the beautiful game” in our community.
